One time i was helping somone with a quest in Istan cos this person got killed (party wiped) evry time.
It turned out to be the Master difficulty quest where some village in Isnur Isles gets swarmed with Skales.

I aleady read on wiki that a MM and/or AoE damage r recommended for this quest.
This person was using the heroes Ogden, Vekk and Gwen (prolly the default versions).
Vekk and Gwen?!, i was curious what builds were used for them, and asked to ping them.
He/she didnt knew how, got impatient and asked to just play the quest.
I replied i wanted to form a good party.
He/she then left to do something else

No wonder this person sucked.

One other thing I don't understand in FA are ragequitters. Sometimes I'll see it if someone's dying repeatedly, especially to the same people. Or someone pings turtles/monks/whoever over and over, then complains that people aren't doing as he says, so we're all n00bs or something, and off he goes.

Of course people will get upset now and then, it happens, but you still get faction even when you lose; why not just ride the game out? It's only FA!

Because its not that hard to win, if you are in FA to kill people, not win, I say GTFO don't ruin FA because your shit builds can't kill people in RA. Kill turtles and healers then kill players or GET OUT. Its a simple assessment of what does more damage. That noob assassin with Flashing Blades or a Siege Turtle that uses siege and strips an enchant in AoE every 10 seconds.

I see the RoJ wammos in JQ every day. It's ridiculous because there's no point to them. They can't kill a shrine in one RoJ like a monk could and they're just all around useless.

I get into arguments weekly with stupid people who claim that the gamestop release date for GW2 is the actual release date. That upsets me the most I think.

in a build discussion in ac, i pointed out that the guy's crit scythe bar should probably have asuran scan because it adds massive damage.
he responded: no, asuran scan is a bad skill. it can be removed by hex removal. he was using sabway heroes. (SEE: CURSES NECRO)

I was running a friend of a guildmate thru a mission in NF, the one where you have to escape kourna back to Istan? he was a ranger working on his survivor title and i told him to stay in the back with the NPC monks and he should be fine. I was using my condition spamming War and using a modified sabway hero team. He was using vekk, souske, and ogden , don't even know what they were using. I was about halfway thru getting masters reward(he did say please, and he was staying back out of the way), when he asked for my builds. I pinged them to him and he proceeded to spend 10 minutes telling me they were nothing but garbage and i was wasting my time using them and if I didn't want to be considered a total noob loser I had to change my build right then to some crappy build. Yes, change my build in the middle of a mission. So, I just said bye, and zoned out on him. Apparently he stayed and tried to finish mission and ended up dying and losing his suvivor title.

I learn from lessons that "DON'T EVER" say people's builds are garbage. But you can give advices/opinions on how to make their builds more effective. Its a game, people use what they like. However, in certain areas, certain builds are indeed needed. But in that mission, that guy deaths..he deserves it, no pity.

Know what you mean, almost always when I'm in groups theres always one person saying everyones heroes are rubbish and wants to use theirs. Then their awful heroes get the group killed, that person leaves and then we redo with our (rubbish) heroes and succeed.

I used to explain why my heroes were better. Nowadays, I just go along with them just to watch them fail lol, guess I'm a little evil

We are a pretty casual guild so we do have a lot of newbies that are pinging builds and asking for advice. Some of them are absolutely beyond awful with points spread out across 5-6 attributes sometimes. It's hard to walk that line to be polite enough to tell them their build is completely garbage and needs to be scrapped from the floor up. A lot of times they have like half their bar devoted to self heals and their defense is: "hey I don't die..". You're also not dealing damage either. I used to think I was such a great ranger because when my party wiped, I was the last guy to die...

Another guy was running an ALL interrupt warrior bar bragging about how he could shut down a monster for a long time. Why not just kill the thing? You're a warrior...

This happened a while ago. I had helped a beginner assassin out by explaining how attributes and builds work. It was like talking to a brick wall, almost as if he were stuck in a perpetual loop. Since I had helped him out, he eventually gets this idea that I'm suddenly his best friend to whom he can explain all his pre-teen life drama to. I end up putting this person on my ignore list, only to later be messaged by a good number of his other guild mates asking me why I'm blocking him.

Those babies were also added to the ignore list.

Another time was when a simple trade turned into this warrior begging me for 50K to help finish his armor set. After telling him to toss off, he also started spamming me over whisper.

He's also on the ignore list.

I don't see what you mean ... for somebody who still clicks on skills you sure brag a lot. In my world (PvP) clicking skills = bad cus it slows down your reaction times by heaps

eh? from playing FPSs i can click all over the screen quickly at will, let alone in the tiny area of the skillbar. it all depends on how you're comfortable playing.
